Overview
Kilimanjaro Climb on Lemosho Route is a premium trek designed for 6, 7, or 8 days.
Climbing through different climate zones, it starts on hills and winds further across alpine meadows to ascend to the arctic zone near Uhuru Peak.
The descent, in turn, passes through a rainforest. All this makes this route the most scenic on Kilimanjaro. Lemosho Route offers the smoothest acclimatization and the highest success rates of 85%, 90%, and 95% for 6, 7, and 8-day programs, respectively.
The total distance covered on the Lemosho Route is 46 kilometers (28.5 miles). We recommend this trail for those ready to pay a bit extra for high-altitude drop off by a vehicle. The best views on the mountain and increased chances of successful summiting come free of charge.
